Worlds of Fun Wednesday

So the girlfriend and I had these free passes for Worlds of Fun (courtesy of my Stepmom) and were planning to go there on Thursday. Well, due to impending, inclinated weather, we decided to skip out the better part of a work day and go on Wednesday.
Not a bad way to finish a day of work. Not bad weather either.
To the left are pictures of the parks' newest addition called The Patriot. Finally a rollercoaster to replace the Orient Express that has both loops and corkscrew turns... plus the damned thing is inverted. Hell yeah, this was fun.
Just as we had planned it, there weren't many people in attendance because most kids were already back in school. There were not lines, and getting back on a ride after having rode it was a common occurrence.
We both had a lot of fun for minimal funds, which is just how I like it.
After getting back home from the park, and a short nap, I decided to put in Final Destination 3. For those of you who don't know, the beginning of the film starts out with a rollercoaster accident gone wrong, and by wrong I mean... people DIE! That kind of put the fear in the ol' girlfriend. Good thing I didn't decide to watch this earlier. BTW: FD3 wasn't that bad of a movie, it's like the game Mouse Trap, but for killing people. Dare I say it was the best of the trilogy? I Dare.
