While I Was Walking...

During my lunch breaks at work I walk a treadmill and watch DVD's, 30 minutes at a time. In this column I review them and finish things off with my thoughts with whether or not I recommend the movie.I'm still catching up! For this installment I feature Flyboys. A movie that was promoted last year when I was in San Diego for the Comic-con.
Plot Outline: The adventures of the Lafayette Escadrille, young Americans who volunteered for the French military before the U.S. entered World War I, and became the country's first fighter pilots.
This was a long movie and took several long sittings to finish. But it was also a decient movie. There was a love subplot that at times was too mushy mushy for me(a techinical term, yes I know), but it was also nice seeing how well the French and Americans bonded and handled the cultural differences... which they made part of the film.
The kicker for me were the last two dogfights of the film, which I wished I had watched at home instead of an eight inch screen. They were action packed and beautiful to see.
