Playing Ketchup

Thursday, December 14

Hi.

I haven't been able to keep up on posting lately, mostly due to this joyous holiday season, so I just thought I'd touch upon it real quick and maybe mention a few things.

First off, I missed out tooting my own horn for appearing in Invincible #37... but then again that's all I've been talking about for the past month... so that's old news. My very own comic book store didn't get any copies. I couldn't believe it. So all I managed to get was a preview issue. A friend of mine was supposed to get extra copies but I've yet to actually talk to him yet: Greg Smallwood... seven days and counting!

I received an e-mail just yesterday from the artist of The Walking Dead telling me I'm going to be a zombie in issue #35! That's only two issues from now, so I hope to see come January! If it ships on time that is.

While we're talking about comics I might mention that I'm behind on my Comic Book Run listings. Not sure if anybody really reads those anyway, but looking at my large stacks of comic books I think that I'm gonna pass on those for right now.

Over the past week my good friend Charlie was back in town from the Army. It wasn't exactly under the best of circumstances, but it was good to see him and hang with him a few times while he was here.

Not really getting too much sleep nowadays. I'll be glad when Christmas is over and things go back to "normal".

That's all for now, later.
