A Comic Book Shocker

Thursday, September 28

No, this isn't about Civil War. This isn't about a new series or the death of a character. With all of the major events occuring in comics today, not in many years have I had this reaction.

I looked up on Newsarama.com... my first source for all my comic book news... and saw this title:

STEPHEN WACKER LEAVES DC

I literally said "Holy Shit!" and truely was shocked.

He's not a legendary figure, he's not famous for his work... hell, he was hired on in 2000... but I saw the man in San Diego, heard him talk about DC Comics... he was the editor on 52, a weekly comic and had a weekly column on Newsarama to comment on every issue.

This saddened me.
