New Media Tuesday

Some very uninteresting picks for this week in movies. Only one do I even mildly care to see. This week we have Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, which I felt they should have just left the first one alone. Everything I've seen from this sequel seems like rehashed material and forced.

March of the Penguins was popular for a short while. Mainly because I think it was cute. I'll pass. Mr. and Mrs. Smith I've been told wasn't a bad movie. However I'm not a big fan of either Jolie or Pitt. Something that heavily weighs on me ever seeing this movie.

Sky High would be the renter of the bunch. I'm interested in seeing this mostly due to the actors in it (not the kids) and of course the superhero theme. I dread the happy go lucky kiddie Disney feel to it, but I could be wrong.

Speaking of Disney, they who now own the Muppets, released a few of their movies on DVD. Titles including the Muppet Movie, Great Muppet Caper, Muppet Christmas Carol, and Muppet Treasure Island. What? No Muppets Take Manhattan? That was the best one. Grrrrr.... to hell with that.

Family Guy vol 3 was released. If anything were to get purchased it would be that. I wasn't a fan when the show was originally on, but thanks in part to it's DVD sales, and it's syndication on Cartoon Network, it was revied. And thankfully it found a new fan: Me.

Briefly in music, Shakira released Oral Fixation vol. 2, The Darkness returns with a new album, and yes, even Yanni is still making music.

That's all I got for this week. I really need to start these posts earlier.
