Weekend in Review

Here's what I did over the weekend.
Friday after work I went to the local theatre with my girlfriend to watch The 40 Year Old Virgin. It was a very funny movie. It kinda hit close to home, as there were several reminders of a similar person I know with a lifestyle both past and present. Ok that person is me. Of course the movie is a bit more... embellished than my life. Similarities aside, I thought it made a few nice points, and enjoyed the over use of language in it. Again, very funny.
Saturday night's alright for fighting. At least at my friend Chuck's house. He had a party at his house. There were a few of our collective bunch of friends there, and a bunch of his friends. They were a happy, ... um... active bunch. Right before I left, Chuck and a few others brought out boxing gloves and started to ... um, box. Really glad I ended that fad at my parties. Thanks for the good time man.
Both Saturday and Sunday I worked so it was a short weekend. After putting in my eight hours Sunday I did a few housekeeping chores that I had ignored for a week and cooked dinner for my girlfriend. She later took me over to her uncle's house to shoot pool for a little bit. Just kind of wrapping things up here typing the ol' blog and watching Robot Chicken and Harvey Birdman on Cartoon Network.
That was my weekend. Now to look forward to an interesting week. Later.
