September 1 marks the end of the Star Trek Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. After 11 years of living long & prospering they are taking the themed area out. I don't know what they're turning it into, but it will not be a journey to a galaxy far, far away (of course not, because that's Star Wars). No use in complaining about it, resistance is futile, after all.
I just found this out while surfing around various "fanboy" sites. It saddens me because I looked forward to seeing it again during a future trip to Vegas. Things change I guess, like rides and attractions in Disney World. I'm just glad I had a chance to visit it. All good things...

Over the weekend, I was proud to stand with my long time bud from school - Nick Albert. He married the love of his life, Celeste, a super kewl girlie in her own right. They're crazy for each other.
Rachael and I spent Friday and Saturday in Kansas City, which was like a mini vacation, but make no mistake... we were knee deep in wedding the whole time. It was nice to get away, and Nick and Celeste put on quite the wedding.
Congrats to the lucky couple.

So aside from K-mart being robbed, about a week or so before that, a friend of mine... his house was broken into and took stuff.
For over a week I was without a vehicle. My Jeep broke down one day after work and I was left stranded for a while in the middle of a busy 4th street. I ended up getting a new rear axle put on. Yeah, THAT cost some money.
This weekend my high school bud Nick Albert is getting married. So my weekend is wrapped around that. I pick up a tux tonight. Can't wait. For the wedding, not just picking up the tux.

Hello. I've gone longer than this without posting before, but stuff has been going on in my life and I haven't had the time to blog about it. Here's a little blurb though as to something that happened to one faction of my life, my second job at K-mart.
In case you haven't heard, as it made the front page of today's Leavenworth Times... Wednesday morning before the store opened it was broken into and robbed. The electronics department specifically.
