New Media Tuesday

Tuesday, November 1

Alright. The only real important release here is Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. The circle is complete, the saga is over, Darth Vader kills everybody then later has a change of heart. A love story with lazer swords.

I only got to see this once in the theatres, and really wanted to see it again. And tomorrow, I will. And what more, I'll get to check out all the deleted scenes that Lucas took out, most of which I've read are about the forming of the rebel alliance.

Also out is Star Wars: Battlefront II for PS2 and X-box. The first one kicked ass, this new one will probably kick it's ass. With a lazer sword. What the hell is it with Star Wars that makes me geek up inside? I love it.

Other crap that's out today: A Perfect Man with Hillary Duff. Yippie. Millions comes out, about a suitcase of money that falls from the sky and a kid spends it, but turns out that *gasp* the monies is stolen *gasp*. A new Special Edition of Office Space (complete with flair) comes out, make sure to buy that one if you don't already own this great movie.

Music that came out.... Ozzy released an album of cover songs. A few interesting choices, doesn't look bad. I think I'll look into it. Blink-182 put out a greatest hits album with three new songs. That seems the trend now-a-days to put new material on a greatest hits CD. Don't like it. The pop trend continues with NOW 20. A Nirvana album was released with demo versions of a lot of popular tracks. Santana teams up with about a quarter of the record industry to help record his latest album, everybody from Michelle Branch to Kirk Hammond join aboard.

That's it for this week. Bye.
