Friends and Family Weekend
Monday, August 1
Well I had a social weekend. On Friday night I hosted a party at my house. Most of everybody I invited showed, one even at 2:45 in the morning. It was fun, and I think everybody else had fun, except some of my single friends complained about a lack of single girls to flirt with/get drunk. But oh well.
The next morning, still reeling from a headache, I went with a few of my friends to the city to visit comic book stores and what not. In an attempt at saving money I ended up only purchasing one thing during the entire trip. I picked up the latest issue of The New Avengers. I want to start reading that one, so add another Marvel title to my list. Yes. A Marvel book.
Later that day my father invites Rachael and I out to breakfast with my stepmom and her family. So Sunday morning we eat and afterwards go over to my Dad's. I am then reminded of some stuff I have in storage at my Grandparents house and get my Dad to help me (cause he has a truck and all). We drive out there and then get talked into staying for a dinner with more family. Apparently more relatives were coming out that day and they just as well thought I was working (which I did later but that's beside the point). So Sunday was a nice day with family. Fun, fun, fun. Hope everybody else had a nice weekend too.
